By January 1950, "Atomic Age" America was fueled with rabid paranoia. Russia had the H-bomb, communists were infiltrating unions and academia, strange unidentified objects called "flying saucers" were invading our skies and a small New Mexico town called Roswell was suddenly made famous. The Flying Saucer is about a thrill-packed race between the United States and Russia to capture a flying saucer hidden in the uncharted, avalanche-prone wastelands of Alaska.
